How to see subscribers on YouTube from computer

The procedure to see your YouTube subscribers is very simple: first, connect to the service main page and, if you haven’t done it yet, log in with your Google account.

At this point, click on your photo in the upper right corner, select the Your channel option from the opened menu and, in the newly displayed screen, you’ll find the number of subscribers to your channel indicated near the channel name. Alternatively, you can also find this information by opening any video uploaded to your channel: the number of subscribers is indicated below the channel name.

If, on the other hand, you want to monitor the progress of your channel and get more information about your subscriptions, including the possibility to see YouTube subscribers’ names, you can access YouTube Studio. In fact, this platform allows you to get a general overview of new activities related to your YouTube channel and take advantage of additional options, such as viewing comments, activating monetization, adding subtitles and much more.

To access YouTube Studio, click on your photo in the top right corner and select the YouTube Studio option from the menu that opens. On the newly opened screen, in the Channel Analysis box, you’ll be able to see the total number of subscribers to your channel and the number of people who have subscribed in the last 28 days.

To view the name of the subscribers, on the other hand, locate the Recent Subscribers box, click the View All item and, via the drop-down menu at the top right, select the Entire duration option to view the complete list of all people who are subscribed to your YouTube channel.

Moreover, I’d like to point out that by clicking the Analytics option located in the sidebar on the left, you can view additional information about your channel and some more detailed data about your audience (e.g. Age and gender, Main geographical areas, Subscribers’ viewing time, etc.).

To do that, look for the channel you are interested in in the Search field at the top of the screen and press the Enter key on the keyboard to display the search results.

How to see YouTube subscribers from Android

If your intention is to see subscribers on YouTube from an Android device, take your device, launch the YouTube app and make sure you’re signed in with the Google account associated with the YouTube channel you’re interested in.

Now, tap on your photo, top right, select the Your Channel option from the opened menu, and, in the newly displayed screen, you’ll be able to see the total number of subscribers to your channel indicated near the latter’s name.

What do you say? Do you prefer to have more detailed information about your subscribers? In that case, you can use the YouTube Studio app, which allows you not only to monitor the progress of your channel but also to view data about video coverage and audience engagement.

If you think this is a good app for viewing subscribers on YouTube, launch YouTube Studio and, if it’s your first-time access, press the Get Started button and select the Google account you’re interested in. After that, on the Dashboard screen, you can see the number of subscribers in the vicinity of your channel name, while the Analytics box shows some statistics, including the change in the number of subscribers over the past 28 days.

To view more data, press the ☰ button at the top left and select the Analytics option from the menu that pops up. In the Overview section, by clicking on the Subscribers item, you can see the trend of subscriptions to your YouTube channel over a specific period of time (e.g. last 7 days, last 28 days, Entire duration, etc.).

Selecting, instead, the Audience tab, you can get information about your subscribers, such as gender, age, viewing time, other channels visited by your audience, and much more. Easy, right?

To see the number of subscribers of another channel, on the other hand, tap on the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner, enter the name of the channel in question in the Search YouTube field, and press the magnifying glass icon again: in the search results, locate the channel you’re interested in to see its number of subscribers.

How to see subscribers on YouTube from iPhone/iPad

The procedure to see subscribers on YouTube from iPhone/iPad is almost identical to what I have previously indicated for Android devices.

Also in this case, in fact, you just need to access the main screen of your YouTube channel or use the YouTube Studio app. You can then follow the directions I provided in the previous paragraphs of this guide.

How to see YouTube subscribers in real-time

As mentioned in the previous lines of this guide, by logging into YouTube Studio you can monitor the progress of your channel and get detailed information, including the ability to see subscribers on YouTube in real-time.

To do it from your computer, connect to YouTube Studio main page and log in to your account (if necessary), then click the Analytics item in the left sidebar (if necessary, click the ☰ button to expand the menu) and locate the Real-time section.

Now, click on the Show real-time count option and, in the newly opened page, you can see both the real-time updated subscriptions and a graph of your channel growth.

If, on the other hand, you are wondering whether it is possible to do all this from smartphones and tablets using the YouTube Studio app, I’m sorry to say that the answer is negative as this feature is not available. However, you can do it by connecting to YouTube Studio from your browser.

To do that, launch the web browser installed on your device (e.g. Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone/iPad), connect to YouTube Studio main page and, if necessary, log in with your Google account. After that, click the Continue option on the Studio, select the Analytics option in the left sidebar and, in the newly displayed screen, click the Show real-time count option visible in the Real-time box.

How not to show subscribers on YouTube

If you’re wondering if it’s possible to not show subscribers on YouTube, you’ll be glad to know that the answer is yes. In fact, from YouTube Studio Settings, you can hide the number of people who have subscribed to your channel.

To proceed from your computer, go to YouTube Studio main page, click the Settings item in the left sidebar and go to the Channel section. Then select the Advanced Settings tab, locate the Number of subscribers item and uncheck the Show number of subscribers to my channel option. Finally, click the Save button and you’re done.

If you prefer to proceed from smartphones and tablets, again, you need to proceed from the browser as the option to hide the number of subscribers to your channel is not available in the YouTube Studio app. In that case, all you have to do is follow the directions I just provided to do it from your computer.
